 This on took a drive out in the sticks over may low water bridges. This was the location of Hamilton Iron works that was built in the late 1870s. Part of the old furnace is still standing, very cool.  I walk around in the wood for 45 miniutes and could not find this one, I will wait until all the chiggers are gone before I go back and try again.

This cache was in a very nice park off of Olive St road. I went after this on after my Dr. appointment. Iphone application said there was a tractable inventory IE coin but found nothing.

Mailladylisa need to go to Washington to pick up some things so while we were over there we thought we would look and see if there were any caches close by and we found one less that a mile away. Off we went the cache name is in reference to the park the cache is in. Mailladylisa found this on also.  I dropped off the leaf coin and pick up this coin.

This is the first Geocaching Trip mailladylisa goes on with wildbillbigbill. After running around looking in the creek maillady lisa finds the Cache, it a 30 cal ammo can filled with all types of goodies. The gold colored item is a trackable coin you can take it and log that you have it and then place it in another Cache on your next find. The pink paper is the Tracking number and it asks for you to move the item on the other side is said "dont keep me"..

 This was a lunch time Caching hunt. Lisa S from work went with me and we headed off southwest to find what we could find.  We found it and forgot to take any photos of it. took small address book and left nothing.

Another Cemetery in the series of Lost Cemeteries of Crawford County.
The cemetery known as the Loller Cemetery is located at a place that used to be called Laffingwell Crossing.There are two grave stone that are readable at this time. But there is a toatl of at least six stones in the cemetery. When I talked to Mrs. Wright about the location of this cemetery she related to me an interesting story that I thought might interest you. The story goes that a train occured in this area in 1904. The train was on it's way back from the Worlds Fair in St. Louis Missouri when it crashed. The thing about the story is that she told me some of the people in this wreck where buried here but no stone markers where erected.

This was a jump out and find Cache it was down a dead end road so no problems with the traffic.  This one I grabed before work.

Geo Caching Say what?

So I have taken up Geo Caching using Geocaching web site.  He is how they discribe it "Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment." Right now they are tracking 891,041 active geocaches around the world..

In this Blog i will post photo of Caches that I find and thing like what was in it what I take from it and what I leave behind, also post some photos of item and places that I find them. I hope you enjoy and that you mght get out and give it a try.

cache is located just .25 miles from the parking lot nice trail the cache was of the trial 100 or so feet was a ammo can that was in a hollowed out log.  I took no photo of this because I was happy just to find it and i took nothing from or left nothing . was a great first hunt..
